1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate Vybe safely and deliver your bookings.
- User account details: name, email, phone number, date of birth and other profile information you choose to share for planning and booking experiences.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. Card information is sent directly to Stripe; Vybe does not store full card numbers.
- Partner verification: venues, promoters and vendors provide verification documents (such as IDs, licenses and tax details) to meet compliance and safety requirements.
- Usage data: device, log and analytics data that helps us secure the service, prevent fraud and improve recommendations.
We may receive information about you from trusted partners to prevent fraud or to enable bookings (for example, when a venue confirms availability or guest lists).
2. How we use information
- Deliver core features such as discovery, reservations, ticketing, payments and support.
- Personalize recommendations and communications you opt into.
- Verify vendors, maintain platform integrity and protect the community.
- Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents.
When required by law (for example, in certain regions), we rely on legal bases such as performing a contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing Vybe, and your consent for optional features like marketing messages.
4. Payments, refunds and cancellations
Payments on Vybe are powered by Stripe. Charges, refunds and cancellation handling are governed by Stripe’s payment processing policies and any venue- or ticket-specific rules presented at checkout. Please review those policies when you pay.
5. Data retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. We use technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect your information. If you request deletion, some data may be retained where legally necessary or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention and accounting).
6. Your choices and rights
- Update or correct your profile information in the app.
- Adjust marketing preferences or opt out of non-essential communications.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your personal data, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business needs.

We will respond to privacy requests in line with local requirements. For security, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
7. Cookies and analytics
Vybe uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, understand usage and improve performance. You can manage cookies in your browser or device settings; disabling them may affect certain features like sign-in or saved preferences.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When we transfer data, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) to help keep it secure and lawful.
